Social work bases its methodology on a systematic body of evidence-based knowledge derived from research and practice evaluation, including local and indigenous knowledge specific to its context. It recognizes the complexity of interactions between human beings and their environment, and the capacity of people both to be affected by and to alter the multiple influences upon them including bio-psychosocial factors. The social work profession draws on theories of human development, social theory and social systems to analyze complex situations and to facilitate individual, organizational, social and cultural changes." Thus at RCT, we have started the work with research. We have got tabulated the names of the entire 4000 and odd student community from various schools in the following format: This would give the correct picture of the economic backwardness of the children and their families and would enable the organizers to plan accordingly. It is very essential that we support the families in order they support the child to go to school. The organizers would help the parent in his profession. Say for example if he is a carpenter, his services would be first utilized for making benches for school children. Or is he is a tiller, his produce can be purchased and sold to the families of the students at the same rate or much less than the market rate so that their monthly expenses drop to compensate for earning and or supplement their earnings. Thus this project would be for all round improvement of the children and their surroundings. At the end of a decade we would have transformed the lives of 40000 students from 1st to junior college level. Thereafter, if we have truly done the job, these 40000 children would turn their families into better citizens following the same method. This cascading effect would augur well if we carry on this from villages to towns. The scope of this foundation would include the following among others, to provide

        Due to economical reasons, especially in poor countries, children are forced to work in order to survive. Child labour often happens in difficult conditions, which are dangerous and impair the education of the future citizens and increase vulnerability to adults. It is hard to know exactly the age and number of children who work in India. The 2001 national census of India estimated the total number of child labour, aged 5–14, to be at 12.6 million but the figure is underestimated because domestic labour is not counted.
